Dorothy M. Bolin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Bolin of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Vandivier and Mildred Vandivier (Willey); her husband Theodore Bolin; her children, Debra "Susie" Bolin and Michael B. Bolin; her grandson Joshua Allen Bolin; and her siblings, Harold Vandivier, Earl Vandivier, Larry Vandiver, Geraldine Bundy, Pauline Spaw, Pansey Stevens and JoAnn Scholl.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Hickman (Bruce) of Indianapolis, IN, Cindy Lane of Franklin, IN, Paula Hardin (Robert) of Austin, IN, Ted Bolin (Becky) of Greenwood, IN, Gary Bolin (Juanita) of Brown County, IN, Jim Bolin of Franklin, IN, Jeff Bolin of Franklin, IN and Dwight Bolin (Debra) of Shelby County, IN; and her brother-in-law Jim Webb of Trafalgar, IN. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center (300 S Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Greenlawn Cemetery (100 W South St, Franklin, IN 46131).
