Debra left this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 56, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlin Wayne Sparks and Elsie Jane Sparks (Hunter); and her brother James Sparks. She is survived by: her children, Justin Peters of Rushville, Calvin Lewis (Samantha) of Metamora, Elsie and Chelsie Hunter of Rushville; her grandchildren, Ryot, Arya, Elliott Lewis, Bella and Reece Peters; her close friend Dave Godsey of Laurel; and her siblings, Kenneth Sparks, Darrell Sparks (Joyce) of Laurel, Paul Sparks of Westport and Crystal Van Wye (Jake) of Shelbyville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Metamora Church of God. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Debra was a donor, as a giving person, her final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation..
