Daniel D. Hoagland Obituary

The passing of Daniel D. Hoagland of Franklin, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 78. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac N. Hoagland and Charlene F. Hoagland (Haggard); and his siblings, Isaac "Ike" Hoagland, Winona Barnett, Luella "Lu" Huff and Robert "Bob" Hoagland.

He is survived by: his wife Opal M. "Opie" Hoagland (Patterson); his son Joshua Hoagland (Carrie) of Camby; his brothers, Charles Hoagland of Martinsville and Samuel Hoagland (Sandra) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Cara Matthews (Josh) of Indianapolis, Dylan Rossman of Piscataway, NJ and Macy Morgan of Carmel; his great grandchild Corey Colwell of Indianapolis; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Hoagland of Bloomington and Rosie Hurst of Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center (179 E Mulberry St, Morgantown, IN 46160). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
