We bid farewell to Barbara Faye Dushane of Franklin, Indiana, born in Shelbyville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Barbara Faye touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Walton Sturgeon and Lydia Mann Sturgeon; her son James William Bruce; and her son-in-law William Newman. She is survived by: her children, Lori Lea Newman, Dale Russell Bruce of Franklin and Linda Dawn Griffin (Mark) of Idaho; her grandchildren, Sarah Wade (Craig), Zac Holbert (Danya), Joseph Newman and Zeph Bruce; her great grandchildren, Maelyah, Jacob and Matthew Wade; and her brothers, Roscoe Sturgeon (Susan Walker) and Gerry Sturgeon (Nora).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turning Point Church (3600 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
