He was predeceased by: his grandmother Julie Hall; and his aunt Jennifer Hawes. He is survived by: his parents, Cyril Schmaltz and Christina "Christy" Schmaltz (Hawes); his children, Kyler, Levi and Hadley; his nephew Zane Schmaltz; his brothers, Tommy and Blaine Schmaltz; his grandparents, Judy Hawes and Gary Hall (Sherryl); and his aunts and uncles, Stacie Butler (Sean), Billy Hawes (Jennifer), Heather Grissom (Joe) and Rory.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Genda Funeral Home - Frankfort (608 N Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Middlefork Cemetery N State.
