It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth C. Byrd of Frankfort, Indiana, born in Burnside, Kentucky, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Barnes and Bessie Barnes (Burris); her husband James F. Byrd; and her brothers, Paul Lewis Barnes, George Ray Barnes and Robert Lyle Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Kinsler (Chris) of Frankfort, James Robert "Bob" Byrd (Ann Snook) of Monticello, Billy Ray Byrd (Maribel) of Frankfort and Tony A. Byrd (Grace Ann) of Frankfort; her siblings, Janet "Lois" Baber of Kirklin and John Riley Barnes of Frankfort; and her pet Lola. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, many Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great-Grandchildren.
