She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred N. Dean and Charlotte Dean (Dildine); her siblings, Melba Overstreet, Ruth Ann Dean and Stanley A. Dean; and her brother-in-law Paul Horrall.
She is survived by: her significant other Franklin Kaye Bass; her children, David A. Bass of Richmond, Mark D. Bass (Cindy) of Lafayette, C. Elaine Drew of Indianapolis and Gail K. Voteau (Rick) of Chesterfield, Missouri; her sisters, Carolyn J. Horrall of Mulberry and Joyce Dean (Mary Ellen Batiuk) of Dayton, Ohio; her sister-in-law Shirley Dean of Bixby, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Jared A. Bass of Lafayette, Russell Drew (Emilie) of Denver, Colorado, Renee K. Voteau of Chesterfield, Missouri and Stephanie P. Voteau of Chesterfield, Missouri; and her great grandchild Madeleine Drew.
In lieu of flora arrangements, memorials may be made in Mary Jane's honor, to Wesley Manor Employee Appreciation Fund.
