James Russel Unger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Russel Unger (Frankfort, Indiana), who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russel and Edith Louise Unger (Beck); and his siblings, William "Bill" Unger, Margaret Louise Bennett and Carol Yrea Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Unger (Donoho); his sister Rebecca Mullens (Don); his children, Lisa Kay Mette (Dave) of Michigan, James A. Unger (Terrie) of Rossville and Lori Leighty (Scott) of Michigantown; his grandchildren, Jamie Brown (Steve), Michelle Unger (Brandon Shuler), Lindsey Sindelar (James), Matthew Leighty (Sydney) and Jacob Leighty (Molly); and his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Brylee, Landon, Brady, Tyler, Ava and Nora. He is also survived by friends and family.
Memorial Donations may be made in Jim's honor to the Rossville Masonic Lodge #318 or the Rossville United Methodist Church, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
