It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Isbell Jr. in Frankfort, Indiana, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Larry Isbell. He is survived by: his mother Mary Margaret Phillips (Chamness); his children, Hailey Nikole Isbell of Texas, Bryce Ian Isbell of Texas, Kameron Alexzander Isbell of Texas and Blayne Matthew Johnes of Lebanon; his stepdaughter Erica Brock of Lebanon; his grandson Daniel Allen Long of Texas; his stepfather Michael Phillips of Lebanon; his sisters, Christy Withers (Truman) and Joanna Isbell (Aaron Acord) of Advance; and his stepsiblings, Billy Phillips (Amanda) and Becca McMasters (Joel). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Myers Mortuary to assist the family with funeral expenses.
