He was predeceased by: his parents, Geronimo G. Montalvo and Tomasa Montalvo (Alvarado); his children, Cindy Montalvo and Michale Montalvo; his grandsons, John and Jonathan; and his siblings, Marylou Lovett, Elaine Hornsby, Dionsia Cornejo, Christina Slaven, Vivy Arellanes and Robert Montalvo.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Montalvo of Frankfort; his sons, Jerry Montalvo (Joyce) of Rossville and John Montalvo (Alisha King) of Frankfort; his siblings, Steve Montalvo of Floyds and Solio "Sam" Wertsvaugh of Texas; and his grandchildren, Jerry Jr., Linda, Alisha, Jennifer and Tyann. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
