He was predeceased by: his father Fred; and his son Bryce Harold Whitecotton. He is survived by: his wife Edna M. Coleman; his son Don Michael Whitecotton of Kansas City; and his siblings, Ted Harold, Joyce Surface (Wayne) of Brooklyn, IN and Joan Livesay (Glenn) of Lake Holiday, IN..

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home (107 N Grant Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933).
