He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willis Heldt, Jr. and Mable Heldt (Phelps); his former wife Dianne Darnell; his wife Debbie Vowells (Rinsch); his children, Larry Jay Heldt (Tara), Steven Tracy Heldt (Kim), Crystal Diane Vertein (Daren), Rob Vowells (Jessica), Michael Vowells and Melissa Wolff (Brian); his siblings, Carl Heldt (Donna), Bonnie Renfrow, Lita Doerner (Steve), Ron Heldt (Lisa), Rodger Heldt (Amy), Kent Heldt (Charlene) and Juanita Sanchez (David); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Grant, Sidney, Emma, Tyler, Owen, Elijah, Lane, Michaela, Macey, Lorien, Clayton, Anderson, Cora, Duncan and Ellery.
