He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vaughn and LaVern Vaughn (Stark); and his sister Judith Mattingly. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ritchie-Vaughn (Howell); his siblings, Jean Vaughn (Tom) of New Albany, IN, Janice Bays of Corydon, IN, JoAnn Jeffries of Louisville, KY, June King (Michael) of Corydon, IN and Jeffrey Vaughn (Patty) of Leavenworth, IN; and his brother-in-law Joe Mattingly of Corydon, IN..
