Donna L. Watkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna L. Watkins of Francisco, Indiana, who passed away on September 5, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank W. Watkins and Ada B. Watkins (Ennes); and her sister Terry Jean Watkins. She is survived by: her cousins, David Watkins of Francisco, Donald Watkins of Elizabethton, TN, Billie Joy Gendren of Francisco, Linda Klingerman of South Bend, Mary Janice Wildt of Francisco, Judy Foust of Petersburg, Jean Pauley of Princeton and Jack Steelman of Patoka; and her close friend Isabel Homoly. She is also survived by several other cousins, family and friends.
She was honored by the Illinois State Board of Education with its "Those Who Excel" award for individuals who have made significant contributions to the state's public schools. In 2007 Donna Watkins was inducted into the Hinsdale Central Foundation Hall of Fame.
