He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Heldt and Ruth Heldt (Hosler); his siblings, Willis Heldt, Jr., Emma Loehr, Carol Heldt, Marvin Heldt, Loren Heldt and Larry Heldt; and his son Robert "Bobby" Heldt.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Heldt of Francisco, IN; his sons, Timothy Heldt (Sheri) of Floyds Knobs, IN and Alan Heldt (Carrie) of Owensville, IN; his daughter-in-law Shawna Heldt of Francisco, IN; his siblings, Lonny Heldt (Donna) of Fort Branch, IN, Betty Rice (Harold) of Terre Haute, IN, Ruthie Rehlander (Kelly) of Tucson, AZ and Janie Williams (Larry) of Fort Branch, IN; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Heldt and Vonda Ross. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
