He is survived by: his wife Vickie Briggs McGowan; his children, Donny Sample, Kim Lynn (Dan) and Chuck McGowan (Jamie); and his niece Jessie Montgomery. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
