She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Simpkins and Crissy Simpkins (Parish); her husband Richard; her daughters, Dawn Marie and Marie Annette Pierce; and her grandchildren, Christopher Owens and Chastity Bennett.

She is survived by: her son Randy Dwain Bennett (Linda). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shiloh Assembly of God Church.
