He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth M. Hand (Schuerer) and Thurston Hand; and his sisters, Deloris Handson (Hand) and Connie Pyle (Hand). He is survived by: his wife Jane A. Hand (Seward); and his siblings, Donald Hand and Jacque Hand Lee (Bill) of Spokane, Washington.. He is also survived by four children.
