Neal E. Atkinson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Neal E. Atkinson of Fowler, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neal E. Atkinson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray E. Atkinson and Alta S. Atkinson (Busey); his sons, Donald and Ronald Atkinson; and his sisters, Geneveive Hare and Virginia Shepherd.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Dowell (Rodney) of Valparaiso and Dale Atkinson of Fowler; his daughters-in-law, Ellen Taulman (Duane) of Remington and Jean Atkinson of Remington; his grandchildren, Tina, Sarah, Beth, Adam, Denissa, Jason, Erik and Matthew; and his cousins, Mavis Bell and Maurine Boyd. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Neal's name to Remington United Methodist Church, Faith Christian Tabernacle of Rensselaer, or Mt. Gilboa United Methodist Church.
