He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Groen and Meta Groen (Ubbinga); and his daughter Arlene. He is survived by: his son Neil Groen (Terry) of Lafayette; his brother Bernie Groen (Carol) of Tucson, AZ.; and his grandchildren, Edie Hall (D. J.), Zachary Cole Groen, Lukas Groen, Joey Niccum, Austin Groen, Lane Groen and Marcus Robertson.
