She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Anthony and Mildred Azelia Ernstberger (Kochert); and her siblings, Iona Miller (late Joe), Annette Akers (late Mike), Huston Ernstberger and Gilbert "Gib" Ernstberger.
She is survived by: her spouse Merlyn L. Ponto; her children, Kevin Ponto (Sandra) of Plainfield, IN, Keith Ponto (Berta) of Corydon, IN, Cheri North (Bart) of Attica, Kenny Ponto of Lafayette, Dan Ponto (Neen) of Grand Prairie, TX, Cathy Risk (Roger), West Lafayette, David Ponto (Maureen) of Westfield, IN, Dennis Ponto and Alan Ponto (Tracy); her siblings, Vernon Ernstberger of New Albany, IN, Paul Ernstberger (LaVerne) of New Albany, IN, Ruthie Shewmaker (Wayne) of Carmel, Melva Gates (Jack) of Dallas, TX, Nancy Matthews (late Jim) and Rita Drury (late Joe); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ruth Ernstberger of Georgetown, IN and Agnes Ernstberger. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
