Charleen Martin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charleen Martin of Fowler, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Knochel and Mabel Knochel; her husband Gary; and her siblings-in-law, Doyle Whitton, Jim Martin, Denny Plessinger, Terry Price and Sharon Plessinger.
She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Remsburg; her son-in-law Bill Remsburg; her son Steve Martin; her sisters, Sandy Whitton and Marjean Hathaway; her siblings-in-law, Ron Hathaway, Carol Price and Diane Bell; and also Mary van Wijk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Remington United Methodist Church (14 S Ohio St, Remington, IN 47977). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Joyful Journey in West Lafayette, Indiana, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
