He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Willie Mae Martin (Townsend); his siblings, Eddie Purvis, James Martin and Bobbie Jean Mathias; his granddaughter Sherry LeAnn Gribbons; and his girlfriend Carolyn Nicely.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Glenn Martin Jr. of Shelbyville, Michele Jean Roeder (Steve) of LeHigh Acres, Melissa Ann Martin (John Gribbons) of Greenwood, Marsha Lynn Martin of Whiteland and Melinda Denise Martin of Shelbyville; his sisters, Ina Joyce McMillen (Darrell) of Kentucky and Darlene Henderson (Don) of Kentucky; and the mother of his children Bonnie Martin of Edinburgh. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
