He was predeceased by: his parents, William J, Sr. and Betty L. Doty Cox; his wife Cathy Rodandello Cox; and his son Nicholas L. Cox. He is survived by: his son Chris (Karen Cox); his grandchildren, Shelly Owens (Brad), Christina Day (Aaron), Michael Horton, Daniel Cox (Abby) and Nate Cox; and his siblings, Kathy Cox (Dennis) and James Cox (Rosie). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
