He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel D. Jay and Edna I. Albin Jay; and his siblings, Janet Wright, Margaret Corbett, Marilyn Clarke and Melville Jay.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Susan M. Chambers; his son Doug; his daughter-in-law Susan Jay; and his grandchildren, Kirsten Freeman, Dylan Jay, Ashley Jay and Brianna Jay. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
