With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Bufford (Fountain City, Indiana), who passed away on September 15, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Abney and Letha Allen Abney; her husband Ernest Bufford; her sons, Ernie Bufford and Terry Bufford; her granddaughter Stacey Leah Mosier; and her siblings, Janice Richey and Herman Abney, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Connie Sawyer (Greg) and Todd Bufford (Eddie Mingua, Jr.); her daughter-in-law Carol Bufford; her grandchildren, Stephanie Anderson (Chris), Erni Bufford, Cody Bufford (Katrina Rhodus) and Indy Bufford (Tommy Carter); and her siblings, Lucille Pippin, Bill Abney and Amos Abney. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and another expected in December; one great-great-grandchild.
