She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lawrence and Bertha Ellen Mobley Barker; and her brother Wayne Barker. She is survived by: her husband Julian D. Johnson; her sons, Mike (Vikki Johnson) and Bruce (Renee Johnson); her grandchildren, Ryan Johnson (Ana), Evan Johnson, Mitchell Johnson (Rachel) and Amber Nicole Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Elena, Wesley, Abigail and Emma.
