He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Showalter and Barbara Campbell Showalter; and his son-in-law Peter Pasquier. He is survived by: his wife Karen Laymon; his daughter Aimee Pasquier; his granddaughters, Aylia Rae Alberts and Vivienne Soleil Pasquier; his brother Dave; his sister-in-law Cathy Showalter; his niece Krista Barnett (Brandon); his nephew David Robert Showalter; his great-nieces, Gracie Showalter, Josie Showalter, Olivia Barnett and Gemma Barnett; his great-nephew Blake Waters; his niece Rebekah Miller; his cousin Candy Miller; and his pet Lucy.
