It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Brookshear of Fountain City, Indiana, born in Lenoir City, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Grace Lois Williams Garrett; her siblings, Helen "Tootsie" Voiles, Loraine McConkey and Alvin Russell Garrett; and her niece Beverly Whitaker.
She is survived by: her sons, Neal Brookshear (Jeannie) and Kevin Brookshear (Peggy); her grandchildren, Cody Brookshear (Lori), Megan Brookshear, Chase Brookshear, Qianqian Peng, Tyler Brookshear and Brandon Brookshear (Emily); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Dallas, Corinne and Ethan; and her nieces and nephews, Diane Nicholson, Diane Peake, Gary Voiles, Greg Vest, Rick Brookshear and Bruce Brookshear.
