She was predeceased by: her parents, William Riley and Clara Hensley Riley; her husband Maurice Dudley Hamm, Jr.; her grandson Andy Hamm; her son-in-law Larry Darr; and her siblings, Thelma Taylor, Wilgus Riley and Ernest Riley.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Fruth (John), Sandy Pickett (Jon), Helen Darr, Karen Roberts (Chris), Dudley Hamm (Carolyn) and David Hamm (Stacey Puzio); and her siblings, Carol Harris, Beulah Evans, William Riley and James Riley. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
