It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ashenfelter of Fountain City, Indiana, born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Laytart and Edith Mann Laytart; and her brother Gene Laytart. She is survived by: her husband Douglas; her children, Jeremy Ashenfelter (Emily) of Indianapolis and Kristina Yates (Todd) of Fountain City; and her siblings, Anna Kelley, David and Sonny Laytart. She is also survived by eight grandsons, two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren.
