She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Garris and Helen Garris; her husband Paul Edward Kemerly; and her siblings, Ruth Boram, Alice Alleyne, Margaret Ellen Garris, Gleela Baldwin and Robert Garris.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kemerly of Fortville, Vicki Burt of Fishers, Debra Stewart (Bill) of Carmel and Jennifer Moss of Fortville; her grandchildren, Paul Burt, Marisha Boyle (Michael), Sarah Beltz (Andrew), Michael Burt (Brittany), Bethany Stewart (Justin Perry), Scott Stewart (Shay), Parker Stewart (Riley Beard) and Bradley Moss; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Price, Kessler Beltz and Kemerly Beltz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
