He was predeceased by: his wife Maralyn Ann Burton (Fletcher); his parents, Willard Burton and Mahala Burton (Tirey); his brother Willard Eli Burton, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, June Burton and David Allen Fletcher.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Robert, Scott Burton (Mary) of Fortville, IN, Brian Burton (Susan) of Fishers, IN and Tom Burton (Julie) of Fishers, IN; his granddaughter Christina Jackson (Thomas); his children, Leah, Nora, Nicholas Burton (Carolyn), Andrew Burton (Lisann) and Kelli Smythe (Kyle); his grandchildren, Zachary and Ryan; his daughter Sarah Burton; his grandchildren, Kaiden and Maralyn; his son Fletcher Burton; his sister-in-law Joan Fletcher (Ramey); and his nieces and nephews, Jill Thomas (Burton), Amy Howard (Burton), Tony Burton, Mark Fletcher and John Fletcher.
