It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Eugene Silvey (Fortville, Indiana), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest G. Silvey and Bonnita M. Silvey (Rushton). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lee Silvey (Moos); his children, Jeffrey E. Silvey, J. Michael Silvey (Lynn) and Sandra K. Silvey (Brook See); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Silvey, Eleanor Silvey of Brandon Silvey, J. D, Curtis Silvey, Jessica Shevlot, Kelsey Allee and Faith Silvey. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
