We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2023, at the age of 96, Betty L. Lane of Fortville, Indiana, born in Hamilton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Willits and Edith Willits (Ballard); her former husband Eugene Ellis; her husband Paul K. Lane; her grandson Joseph Ellis; her stepson Darryl Lane; and her sisters, Ruth Ann Hall, Mary Johnson, Peggy Kendrick Hudson and Catherine Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Burns (Mike) of Pendleton, Ray Ellis (Dewenia) of Lynn and Robert Ellis (Cara) of Fortville; and her stepchildren, Robert Lane (Debbie) of McCordsville and Paula Lane of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, 12 great step-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
