He is survived by: his mother Olivia Betties (Brooks); his daughters, Tonya Brooks of Atlanta, Olivia Hill (Sean) of Largo and Nicolle Brooks of Fort Wayne, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Tayvion Brooks, Taimont Brooks, Taishaun Brooks, Collin Shaw, Jacquel Walker, Devan Walker, Darian Walker and Harmony Walker; his goddaughter Trinity Jones; his siblings, Luther Betties (Gladys) of Florida, Roland Victor Betties of Florida, Michael Cunegin II (Marva) of Indianapolis, John Betties, Bessie Edmonds Armstrong (Hilliard) of Fort Wayne, Glenna Betties of Iowa and Marcia Fowlkes (Grant) of Fort Wayne; and his aunt Annette Brooks Russell of Fort Wayne, Indiana..
