He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sansom and Evelyn Sansom (Johnson). He is survived by: his daughter L. Rachel Sansom; his siblings, Karen Rhoades, Ewin Sansom (Linda) and Nancy Rathburn (Larry); and his nieces and nephews, Amy Kreiger, Kari Irick (Andy), Kassie, Brent, Drew and Keyton.

Memorials may be made to The League-Fort Wayne or Parkview Home, Health, and Hospice.
