He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Scott and Harriet Scott; his wife Peggy (Schlose); his son Mike; his siblings, Mary Jane Felger and William Scott; his siblings-in-law, William Schlose, Robert Schlose, Forest Felger and Betty Scott; his niece Ruth White; and his nephew David Scott.

He is survived by: his daughter Michele Scott of Fort Wayne; his godchildren, William Skaros, Natasha Berning and Andrew Skaros; and his sister-in-law Irene Schlose of Tipp City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families, and cousins.
