He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth M Veerkamp; his brother Donald G. Veerkamp; and his grandson Jonathan W. Veerkamp. He is survived by: his children, Mark Veerkamp (Patty), Dr. Gregory Veerkamp (Mary Pat), Sherri McDonald (Bob) and Jeff Veerkamp (Meg); and his grandchildren, Greg, Brian, Mike, Patrick, Daniel, Marissa, Kristi, Molly and Mark. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
