With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Jane McCormack of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clementine Helen Blotkamp and Pfefferkorn; her husband Buck; her children, David McCormack (Barbara), Judy McCann (Claude), Mike McCormack and Mark McCormack; and her siblings, Jean Blotkamp, Monica Stohler, Helen Wikle, Ruth Koob, Betty Mohler, Phyllis Smithart and Paul Blotkamp.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Groves (Winston); and her siblings-in-law, Jack McCormack and Cecil. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the East Maplewood Cemetery (200 College Dr, Anderson, IN 46012).
