She is survived by: her daughter Valerie D. Surry; her goddaughters, Colena R. Gonzalez and Gwendolyn Poindexter; her grandchildren, Kenneth E. Watts, II, Jordan I. Watts, Amari S. Watts and Teresa C. Shepard; her siblings, Louise Robinson, Sabrina Brown and Arlie Hatch (Vivian); her nephew Richard Hatch; and her close friend Alice Hall. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
