He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Bolen and Hattie Bolen (Walker); and his siblings, Floyd, Chester, Edgil, Berchel, Buster, Vester, Hershel Bolen, Mary Jane Holbrook and Genevieve Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Bolen (Claxton); his children, Raymond Bolen (Laurella) of Littleton, Troy Bolen (Candace) of Fort Wayne and Nancy Boyd (Jeff) of Willard, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Kendra Beck (Jake), Tara Howell (Scott), Zach Bolen (Yvette), Jimmy Cochran, Kaitlin Bolen, Kris Baughman, Heaven Bolen, Bailey Bolen, Chance Boyd and Alek Boyd. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
