She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Washburn and Lucy Smith Washburn; and her husband Rev. Robert L. Miller. She is survived by: her children, Jean Davis (Malcolm) of Lambertville, NJ, Carol Kelley (Carl) of Fort Wayne and David Miller (Elaine) of Bargersville; her grandchildren, Evan, Wendy Davis, Bryan Kelley (Cassandra), Megan Kelley (Skyler Conatser), Caitlin Horsford (Eric), Ian Kelley, Kara Wisniewski (Nathan), Zachary and Lauren Miller; and her great grandchildren, Brenna and Reagan Kelley.

Memorial contributions in Thelma's memory may be made to the University of Indianapolis.
