He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bland; his children, Sylvester Brown (Michelle Murray), Ryan Bland and Marsylia Barkley Major (Pernell); his uncles, Abraham Bland (Ruth), James Bland (Louise), Milton Jones (Kaye), Raymond and John Jones (Sally); and his siblings, Kelleph, Laurie, Barbra and Annette. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Turner Chapel (836 E Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46803).
