It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Cooney of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul G. Schroeter and Gertrude Schroeter (Richter); her husband Raymond J. Cooney; her brother Klaus Dietrich Schroeter; her sister-in-law Ruth Schroeter (Benson); and her son-in-law James I. Pirrie.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Cornelius (Carol Early), Maria Pirrie (Cooney) and Raymond Cooney (Mary Ellen Dunford); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hoffmann (Pirrie), Helen Roy (Pirrie), Maura Reisenger (Cooney), Ryan Cooney, Brendan Cooney, Michael Cooney and Margaret Krase (Cooney). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
