She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hemsoth and Phyllis Hemsoth (Pollitz). She is survived by: her husband Terry Kieffer; her daughter Marie Barhydt (Erik); her grandchildren, Ethyn, Wesley and Elias; her son Brian Kieffer (Cara); her grandchildren, Leo, Lucy and Andi Sue Marie; and her son T. Michael Kieffer.

Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital for Cancer Research.
