She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Hitz and Maurine Hitz (Campbell); her husband Jim Chaille; her children, Thomas Chaille (Holly) of Fort Wayne, Peter Chaille (Lindsay) of Fort Wayne and Kathryn Clarke (Geoff) of Fort Wayne; and her sisters, Barb Hitz, Jane Sasser and Patricia Gallamore (Hitz). She was also cherished by her four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
