He is survived by: his daughter Candy Wellman (Douglas Sr.); his grandchildren, Douglas Wellman Jr. (Morgan), Scott Wellman, Matt Wellman (Linsay), Heidi Rudolph (Jody) and Holly Webb (Ian); and his niece Karen Sands. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the D. O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park (1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
