Sarah Ehrman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2023, at the age of 89, Sarah Ehrman of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Briant Secrest and Beatrice Secrest; her husband Phil Ehrman; her daughter Janice Schenkel; her stepfather Frank Miller; and her brothers, Ora "Mick" Secrest and Eddie Secrest.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Suelzer (Phil) of Fort Wayne, Theresa Roberts of Fort Wayne, Kathy Waters (Brad) of Fort Wayne, Anne Ehinger (Lee) of Fort Wayne, Steve Ehrman (Barb) of Indianapolis and Tom Ehrman (Dana) of Dallas, TX; her son-in-law Mark Schenkel of Fort Wayne; and her sisters-in-law, Rose Secrest of Mooresville and Rita Haifley of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sarah's name to St. Jude Catholic School for tuition assistance or to the Janice Schenkel School of Nursing Scholarship Fund at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne.
