She was predeceased by: her parents, Naoma Hart and William Hart; her husband Larry E. Gerken; and her sister Nancy Etchison (Jan). She is survived by: her nephews, Chip Etchison (Lisa) of Muncie, IN, Todd Etchison (Lisa Boquist) of Ithaca, NY and Dirk Etchison (Ulrike) of Van Nuys, CA; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Skylar, Daniel, Maxine, Lucy, Henry and Liam.
Memorials may be made to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.
